For Atlas - IPTV Player

Last Updated: December 24, 2025

Atlas - IPTV Player ("we," "us," or "our") is a media player application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our mobile application (the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • User-Provided Information: To function, the application requires you to provide IPTV service credentials (such as Stalker portal URLs, MAC addresses, Xtream Codes server details) or M3U playlist information. The MAC address you enter is an identifier provided by your IPTV service (not a device hardware MAC address). This information is stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore to provide the Service and synchronize your data across devices. Xtream passwords and Stalker MAC addresses are encrypted before being sent to the cloud. Auto-generated EPG URLs are created on-device and not stored in the cloud; custom EPG URLs are stored as provided.
  • Google Sign-In: To use the Service, you sign in with Google. We use Google Sign-In services. Google's privacy policy applies to the data handled by Google for this service. We receive your Google account identifier (UID), email address, and display name to identify your account within our Service and to enable cloud synchronization features.
  • Firebase Cloud Firestore: We use Firebase Cloud Firestore to store your IPTV credentials (with Xtream passwords and Stalker MAC addresses encrypted), M3U playlist details, favorited items, and recently watched history to provide cloud storage and synchronization for the Service.
  • Google Play Billing: If you subscribe to premium features, Google Play Billing handles the transaction. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details. Google's privacy policy applies to these transactions.
  • Usage Data (via Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics): We may collect usage data and crash diagnostics to understand how our Service is used and to improve stability. This may include device type, operating system, feature usage, and crash reports.

2. App Check

We may use Firebase App Check to help protect our backend resources from abuse. App Check can validate that requests to our backend are coming from a legitimate instance of the Atlas - IPTV Player app (app.atlas.tv).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (e.g., load your IPTV playlists, play streams).
  • To synchronize your data (portals, favorites, recents) across devices via cloud storage.
  • To manage your subscription status and provide premium features.
  • To improve the Service by analyzing usage patterns and addressing technical issues.
  • To communicate with you, if necessary, regarding your account or important Service updates (primarily through your provided contact email if you reach out to us).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your cloud-synced data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service. You can remove IPTV portals and playlists within the app, which removes them from cloud sync. If you would like us to delete your cloud data associated with your account, contact us using the email below.

5. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your information. We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information you provide against loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. This includes encrypting sensitive data like Xtream passwords and Stalker MAC addresses stored in Firebase. However, please be aware that no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

6. User Content and Responsibility

Atlas - IPTV Player is a player application. We do not provide, host, or distribute any media content or IPTV services. You, the user, are solely responsible for all content (including IPTV playlists, M3U files, Stalker Portals, Xtream Codes accounts, and any media accessed through them) that you add to or access through this application. You must ensure that you have the legal right to access and view any content you use with Atlas - IPTV Player. We do not endorse or condone the use of our application for accessing illegal or copyrighted content.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for or directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and, if the changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice (such as through an in-app notification or by updating the Last Updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy). You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
