Privacy Policy

For Atlas - IPTV Player

Last Updated: May 4, 2026

Atlas is an IPTV player made by an independent developer. This page explains what information the app uses, why it is needed, and what happens when you remove data or delete your account.

1. Information the App Uses

  • IPTV details you add: The app needs the playlist or portal details you choose to add, such as M3U playlist URLs, Stalker portal URLs, Stalker MAC addresses, or Xtream Codes server details. The MAC address you enter is the identifier used by your IPTV service, not your device hardware MAC address. Xtream passwords and Stalker MAC addresses are encrypted before cloud sync.
  • Google Sign-In: You sign in with Google so the app can identify your account and sync your data across devices. The app receives your Google account identifier, email address, and display name. Google also handles its own data under Google's privacy policy.
  • Google Play Billing: If you subscribe to premium features, Google Play handles the payment. I do not receive or store your payment card details.
  • Diagnostics: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics may collect basic usage and crash information, such as device type, operating system, feature usage, and crash reports. This is used to find bugs and improve stability.

2. How the Information Is Used

  • To load your playlists, portals, streams, favorites, recents, and other app data.
  • To sync your app data across devices when cloud sync is enabled through your account.
  • To check your subscription status and unlock premium features.
  • To understand crashes and technical issues so I can fix them.
  • To reply if you contact support.

3. Sharing

I do not sell your personal data. Some services are handled by Google/Firebase because the app uses Google Sign-In, Firebase cloud sync, Firebase diagnostics, and Google Play Billing. Those services process data needed for their features under their own privacy policies.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Cloud-synced data is kept only while your account is active. You can remove IPTV portals and playlists in the app, which removes them from cloud sync. When you delete your account, your cloud-synced account data is fully deleted from the database.

5. Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the data you add to the app, including encrypting sensitive IPTV details such as Xtream passwords and Stalker MAC addresses before cloud sync. No system is perfect, so I cannot promise absolute security.

6. Your Content and Responsibility

Atlas - IPTV Player is only a player. It does not provide, host, sell, or distribute IPTV channels, playlists, or media. You are responsible for the playlists, portals, Xtream Codes accounts, Stalker accounts, M3U files, streams, and media you add or access through the app. You must make sure you have the legal right to use any content you play in Atlas.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. If I learn that a child's personal information was added without proper permission, I will delete it.

8. Changes

I may update this policy when the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new Last Updated date.
